During the beginning of March, I took a trip to a city near Seville called Málaga. Me and my five other friends stayed in an airbnb close to the city center. When we first got there it was morning so we decided to walk around the city and walk around the Alcazaba de Málaga, which is a fortress that was used for military purposes in the past. It surrounded the castle of Gibralfaro, which we were able to walk up to the top and look out over the whole city (see picture below). Then, we decided to go to a beach called Malagueta Beach. After staying on the beach until sunset, we walked to eat dinner and then we went into a really cool bar-restaurant where I got a drink that looked like the house in the movie UP (see picture below). It was definitely one of the coolest drinks I have ever had!

The next day, we went to the Pablo Picasso museum located in the city. It was very interesting and cool to see his art, especially now that I am an adult and actually want to visit museums and learn about history and art, unlike when I was a kid. His art is abstract and focuses on symbolism and surrealism.

After the Picasso museum, we had some dinner and then took a really nice catamaran ride at sunset. It was wonderful being able to see the sunset in Málaga from the top of the catamaran, which is where we were sitting and walking around. I think the ride lasted about an hour and a half.

We got off the catamaran and walked to an ice cream shop that had been recommended to us from a local.

On our last day away from Seville, we took a short bus ride to a city close to Málaga called Marbella. It was very similar to Málaga but it was a bit smaller. It was still a beach city though. While we were there for the day, we walked around and went to the beach. This was also the first time I ever tried mussels; I am not a fan.

The next morning we all woke up and took the train back to Seville. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had school to attend.
