Arriving in Seville

Not going to lie, the first few days in Spain I spent most of my time sleeping. I had to adjust to the time zone change because it was quite significant. Spain is eight hours ahead of Arizona, which is where I am from. But, after I became adjusted to the new time zone, I walked around the city and then took a short trip to Córdoba! By walking around Seville for just a day or so I had already noticed that the city was full of orange trees. They grow everywhere here! It's hard to go outside without seeing one, but that is what makes Seville such a beautiful place to live. It is also a very flat city, which makes it easily walkable. When I visited Córdoba, I went to the famous mosque called La Mezquita. The architecture was wonderful and the garden outside of the building was also full of orange trees! One other thing I did there (besides eat food) was go to the hamman. The hammam was a spa/bathhouse. When I was there, I got to alternate between sitting in a cold, warm, and hot bath. I also went into the sauna a couple of times. When my family comes to visit me I might take them there and have us all get massages in addition to the bathes! Overall rating of Spain within the first week: 10/10!
